Methodology
How It Works
X Daily Digest is a fully automated news curation pipeline that runs every day. No human editors are involved in selecting or writing the stories.
1. Data Collection
Every morning, we collect 400+ articles from 30+ trusted RSS feeds across 7 categories:
- Tech β TechCrunch, The Verge, Ars Technica, Wired, Hacker News
- AI β MIT Technology Review, VentureBeat, The Decoder, AI News
- Finance β CNBC, Bloomberg, CoinDesk, Yahoo Finance
- Politics β Politico, The Hill, BBC Politics, NPR
- World β BBC World, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, Reuters
- Science & Health β Nature, Science Daily, NASA, STAT News
- Culture β Reddit, Google Trends, ESPN, Variety, Rolling Stone
2. AI Curation
The collected articles are sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI), which:
- Groups related articles covering the same story
- Identifies the 12 most significant stories of the day
- Writes concise, neutral 2-3 sentence summaries
- Assigns a category and significance rating (1-5 stars)
- Translates the digest into Chinese
3. Publishing
The curated digest is automatically built into a static website and deployed. The entire process β from data collection to publication β takes under 5 minutes with zero human intervention.
